University City is two kinds of address in one town. The Delmar Loop is neon, sidewalk stars, and storefronts between the municipal line and the limestone lions west of City Hall. A few blocks off that strip, and again along the Washington University edge near Skinker and Big Bend, the buildings turn into flats, student-adjacent rentals, and ordinary houses.
