Under Missouri law, a notary who is not an attorney shall not assist another person in drafting, completing, selecting, or understanding a document or transaction requiring a notarial act (RSMo 486.675). We will not tell you which form to use, how to fill it out, or whether you “need” a particular paper. For those questions, talk to a licensed Missouri attorney or the agency that issued the form.
